No SIT, no FIRs: Delhi High Court shuts the book on 2020 riots and Jamia violence probes
A division bench of Justices Vivek Chaudhary and Manoj Jain on Monday dismissed petitions pending since 2020 seeking an independent SIT probe into the 2020 north-east Delhi riots and the December 2019 Jamia violence, and rejected pleas for FIRs against political leaders over alleged hate speeches.
