'Pure force' to cash counters: Left allies accuse TVK of topping money distribution in Oct 6 bypolls

Shanmugam on Thursday accused the ruling TVK of distributing the most cash among all parties in the Madurantakam and Dharapuram bypolls and demanded Election Commission action. The charge cuts directly against Vijay's April promise that his party was a 'pure force' that would never buy votes.
