'Smash the patriarchy': Cornell activists wreck Day Hall over alleged fraternity gang rape
Activists smashed the glass doors of Cornell's Day Hall at 3 a.m. on Oct 5 and spray-painted 'Smash the patriarchy' in red — fury over a lawsuit alleging seven Chi Phi fraternity members gang-raped a student in 2024. Students rallied that evening demanding the fraternity system be abolished.
