Sent into a sewer with no safety gear: Mumbai contractor held for culpable homicide after worker's death
Santosh Ganpat Kashte, 47, died and another worker was critically injured after entering a Mumbai sewer chamber without safety equipment. The contractor has been arrested for culpable homicide and under the 2013 anti-manual-scavenging law.
